Hi - I’m really excited by the Circuit Playground and it’s potential for educational projects. I’m trying to upload some programmes on to it but I can’t get the CPLAYBOOT drive to show on my mac. I hit reset twice - and the current script stops - but I don’t get the red and green, and the drive doesn’t appear in my finder. Am I doing something wrong or is my board a dud? I’ve got it working with the Arduino web IDE and it says Circuit Playground Developer edition on the board so I’m assuming it should work with the MakeCode environment. Help appreciated!
It sounds like you have the circuit playground classic instead of the express which is the one you need for the drive and make code however it will still work in the arduino ide
Thanks - it does say developer on the back but it doesn’t say classic or express so maybe it is an older version…
