Hi there fellow makers,
I’ve recently been clearing my garage out and came across this old desk fan from the 60s. I’ve butchered the internals to use for a dust extractor, and now I’m left with this lovely old-style plastic casing;
Granted, it’s a little yellowed over time, needs a wash and a new wooden base, but the general aesthetics are still nice.
I’d like to make it a bit smarter by adding some modern Pi-nology to it, but I’ve been a bit indecisive as to what I want to make out of it. I was wondering if you people might have some ideas?
- Another fan?
- A Pan-Tilt Hat inspired robotic assistant?
- An awesome looking desk lamp?
- A desk mounted clock?
