I'm having issues with down on my joystick

Hi,

I’m having random issues with on my joystick. It seems to stop register here and there. I can be hitting down for a bit and suddenly it stops working. It works again after I wiggle the connector a bit on the joystick end. I’ve replaced the joystick with a senwa and the problem persists.

I’ve ordered my picade through adafruit.

nvermind. figured out my issue. Bad wires. I’ve swapped wires and it’s been good for the past 30mins.
