Picade screen defective?

Hello everyone

I have just carefully completed the build of the picade arcade cabinet and also modified the config.txt to add the hdmi_force_hotplug=1 code.

However the screen seems to be defective as illlustrated in the enclosed picture album.

I have checked all connectors including the sensitive LCD ribbon cable but everything seems to be in the right order.

I have also plugged another hdmi screen to my raspberry and the retropie works OK.

Any suggestions on this?

looks to be a bad screen for sure. Have you emailed Picade support?

My wife’s laptop screen went like that and had to be replaced.

Yes I email support and they also think it is a defective screen, hope they can send me a replacement one.
