Temperature/humidity sensor for beehives

I want to measure the temperature and humidity inside a beehive with one sensor and the outside temperature and humidity with another sensor. What products would be most suitable to use with a RPI?
Thanks in advance for any/all advice.
John

BME280 may be your best bet. It provides temp, pressure and humidity. Adafruit have provided a handy module for it you can find here: https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/adafruit-bme280-i2c-or-spi-temperature-humidity-pressure-sensor

Two of those run a pretty penny, but this might also suit your needs:

Both appear to have a temperature accuracy around +/- 1degree.

And then there’s the slightly-cheaper-again Sparkfun module: https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/sparkfun-htu21d-humidity-sensor-breakout

The Sparkfun module has less protection against moisture and dust intrusion since it uses the HTU21D and not the HTU21D-F, the difference is mentioned in the datasheet:

Optional PTFE filter/membrane (F) protects HTU21D digital humidity sensors against dust and water immersion,
as well as against contamination by particles. PTFE filter/membranes preserve a high response time. The white
PTFE filter/membrane is directly stuck on the sensor housing

Overall, I’d suggest this for a good balance of price and suitability: https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/adafruit-htu21d-f-temperature-humidity-sensor-breakout-board
