I was reconnecting my Pimoroni 10” LCD Controller board to the screen earlier an saw a small puff of smoke from the controller board. Since then the backlight does not appear to be working. I can see a faint, dark Retropie image (Pi 3B connected via HDMI) but I cannot change the brightness.
Is this a terminal fault or does anyone have any ideas how I might fix this?
Set up - AdventurePi style arcade with joystick, Pi 3B and LCD Screen powered by battery. Working fine for a week before this problem,
