Hi all,

Sorry for the noob question but I can’t seem to see an answer for this anywhere.

If I was to buy the PIM372 kit to use as a standalone screen (no RPI - just to use as a screen for retro gaming), could I use a breakout board to connect to the digital audio on the board it comes with, and connect some speakers to also get sound from the HDMI? - i.e create a small monitor with speakers for a hdmi source as a standalone display.

If so, what amp board would you recommend?

I saw on forums someone else trying to so this but without success, so would appreciate some help!

Thanks!
