Flyback diodes on automation phat

I’d like to know if the outputs on the automation phat are diode-protected (for use with inductive loads). I don’t see any mention of that, but I think I can make out what look like diodes on the board.

BTW, I’d echo a few other comments I’ve seen here; really wish a schematic was provided for either of the automation hats (couldn’t find the one mentioned in the product description of the full-size version). It would save customers and Pimoroni time/hassle.

Thanks.

The outputs are buffered via a Darlington array, specifically ULN2003A, which includes (quoting the datasheet) “common-cathode clamp diodes for switching inductive loads.” So you should be fine.

Great thank you.

Any comment about the schematics, or lack thereof?
