Has anyone any insight on how to get HyperPixel working on LibreElec? can i install it via ssh?

You might be able to clone this repository and run the `./setup.sh` - I don’t know how much of LibreElec is writable or how it differs from Raspbian:

cheers phil, I found out libreelec isn’t built on raspbien so i’ve got it working on osmc using your auto install script :)
