Having such a hard time with this screen… after almost 2 months finally got the screen to stay rotated horizontally and not freeze or lock up . Now the touch calibration have the axis swapped on y and x and every configuration i have attempted will only change 1 of the them not both . After a lot of useless restarting and hours on end this is the configuration i have now that allows the screen to be horizontal and only 1 axis of sliding your finger up and down works. going right to left is reversed

I found this, might help

> [@Hyperpixel 4.0 Touchscreen Rotate with Display](https://forums.pimoroni.com/t/hyperpixel-4-0-touchscreen-rotate-with-display/8172):

> I’m resting my Pi with the Hyperpixel 4.0 on it’s side so that the PSU and HDMI ports face upwards. The original installation instructions end up with the display upside down, so to fix this I changed display\_rotate=3 in /boot/config.txt to display\_rotate=1. Unfortunately the touchscreen sensor hasn’t rotated with the display, so the mouse appears in the opposite corner to where I touch. How do I fix this please?
