# Joystick/button not working

Hello,

I have installed Retropie 4.0.2 and the Picade (white led on) is connected to the Raspberry (3).  
At first startup (Welcome Hold A button on your device to configure it), nothing happend when a press a button or move the joystick. Can you please tell me how to setup Picade on Retropie?

Did you connect the usb from the Picade to the Pi 3?

Fixed, the usb cable was defective!

It depends on which C64 emulator you’re using. See [this page on the Retropie wiki](https://github.com/retropie/retropie-setup/wiki/Commodore-64).
