# Micro metal gearmotor

Howdo you connect 6v battery leads to micro metal gearmotor (extended back shaft).  
Motor has 2 small pins and 1 longer central pin at rear.  
Do i solder wires to the 2 small pins?

Thanks for that, it’s a great way to avoid soldering but sorry to be a pain but what sort of connector do i need ( 0.1" push header).  
Do you supply?

These should work.

Any jumper jerky etc with a female end will work. Those pins are the same as the ones on the Pi’s GPIO header.

Those motor headers will need to be soldered to the motor by the way.
