MVMe Base Ribbon Cable missing Sticky Tape on back

I was just attaching my new NVMe Base and found that the ribbon cable would not stay in the connector on the PI5. Examining further I see that the sticky tape is missing from the end of the cable. Exhibit A:

This looks to be a quality control issue.

However, adding a suitable amount of Kapton tape has fixed this. Exhibit B:
