Hi Everyone,

I’m Max, a little bit n00b with electronics, and I have a question regarding the pHAT Four Letter. I would like to know if it’s possible to set a specific brightness for each letter.
The source code made me reach this dead end : the [`set_brightness` method of the `HT16K33` class](https://github.com/pimoroni/fourletter-phat/blob/master/library/fourletterphat/HT16K33.py#L88). I guess the brightness value is general and doesn’t offer the possibility to set it for a specific digit. But I prefer to ask :)

Thanks for your help

- Max

Correct, the Holtek LED controller chip can only dim the display as a whole through 16 levels, not individual LEDs. The datasheet describes this as “very versatile”.
