# Plasma 2350 compatibility with Picade Plasma Kit

Hello, I have a [Plasma Kit](https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/plasma-2350?variant=42092628246611) installed on a [Picade](https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/picade?variant=29210087489619). At he origine a Pi 4 was mounted on it and the Plasma kit worked perfectly. I changed the Pi 4 to a Pi 5. The Picade is working very well with incredible performances but not the Plasma Kit. Looking at [Plasma Kit issues](https://github.com/pimoroni/plasma/issues/16) it seems that the Plasma software is not compatible with the Pi 5 and needs to be adapted and it seems that it won’t be in a short period.

I see that there is this nice [Plasma 2350](https://shop.pimoroni.com/products/plasma-2350?variant=42092628246611) board now available. My idea is to plug the Plasma Kit to the Plasma board and the board to the Pi 5. Is this possilbe? Will it work? Do you think that it could be possible to program the Plasma board like [LedBlinky](https://www.ledblinky.net/ledblinky.htm) does on Windows, meaning with a dedicated illuminations depending on the context (eg coins blink and then start blink and then game buttons are activated when the game has started) ?
