# TV Hat doesn't work

Hi! So I’ve connected my TV Hat, but when I try to setup TVheadend, nothing appears under TV Adapters. What gives?

If its now working be very happy nothing bad happened. Usually when you do that the magic blue smoke comes out and you have buy new stuff. It is an easy mistake to make. Especially with that and the way they put the header on? Usually an SMT header like that one would be on the other side? Sometimes I wonder, “what were they thinking”?
