My name is Lars Juhl Jensen. I am a research professor at the Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Protein Research in Copenhagen where I head a disease systems biology group. I am also a co-founder of the company Intomics, which specializes in performing state-of-the-art data mining and systems biology analyses for pharmaceutical and biotech companies. For details on my past affiliations, please refer to my profile on LinkedIn.
My main scientific interest is to understand the principles that govern complex biological systems such as the cell cycle, signaling networks, and diseases. Most of my work is based on integration of data from high-throughput experiments, sequence analysis, and automatic literature mining.
In addition to writing this blog, I microblog on Twitter and answer questions on BioStar.
