I recently purchased a Inky Impression 7.3" (2025 Edition) from The Pi Hut, when I connect it to a Pi zero or pi5, the pi will no longer boot up, the display has never worked.
Can you post some photos showing the back of the Inky and how you’ve got everything connected?

Thanks for sending those over, assuming the Pi header is plugged into the Inky fully then that all looks OK to me. Are you using an official power supply? If not, that might be something to try.
Otherwise, if both RPi are booting without the Impression plugged in I think it’s safe to say that you have a faulty unit - please drop an email to support@pimoroni.com with a link to this thread and some proof of purchase from Pi Hut and we’ll be able to get a replacement sorted for you.
