I just ordered and received a PGA2040, but it seems to be malfunctioning. I soldered the 4 board connectors to the 4 pins on a USB interface as per the “How to hook up a USB cable!” graphic that appears online. During a continuity test, the GND (-) and VBUS (+) board connections appear to be shorted as per my Fluke multimeter. I’ve repeatedly checked for stray solder between the connections, but there is none. I’ve de-soldered and removed all wires, and cleaned the connections, but the GND (-) and VBUS (+) are still showing as having continuity. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what other steps I might try to resolve this? Thank you.
