I have had some help in creating this (Claude), but so far it does what it says on the tin.
This will let you take a self hosted Immich server and display your albums on a Pimoroni Presto.
The QR Code is not working yet, but everything else does.
I know the general feeling to AI at the moment, but my job now depends on me understanding and learning AI in all features to help integrate it into my teams support workflows.
AI is a tool, and it is the same with all tools: “a fool with a tool is still a fool”. So I think it is ok to let Claude do some work for you and if it works that’s absolutely fine. Of course AI generated code needs to be reviewed, but the same holds true for code you take from other team members (or from outside, somewhere from the internet).
Problems start with managers that think they don’t need any programmers anymore, because they can just tell Claude to write the code.
