12V AC Input on Automation HAT

Hi,

Does the Automation HAT also support 12V AC input/output on the relays and inputs? I have a door communication system which supplies 12V AC and provides some dry outputs which are triggered instead of a door bell and also a dry input which could be used to open the door.

As these are dry, I could also use 5V instead however I am unsure of that is going to work due to EMI even though the PI would be right next to the door communication gateway. So my preference would be to use the 12V AC as power supply for the dry contacts if possible.

I would think it would be fine to switch it through the relay contacts.
Not going to work on the buffered inputs or sinking outputs though.
