2 player x-hat setup

Hi, I’ve just completed my 1st single player console using a X-Hat.

How do I connect up 2 player controls I.e how do I daisy chain 2 X-Hats?

Have a look at this, it “might” be an easier way to go.

Just wire up your second joystick and second set of buttons to it, then plug it into the Pi with the Picade X hat on it.

You could even swap it in place of the Picade Hat and Pi in this.

Thanks, the xhat stays plugged in to pi as player 1 and the USB controller into a USB port on pi as 2nd player - have I understood?

Yes, that’s what I was thinking “should” work for two player.
