I read elsewhere about the Sanwa 4/8 way restrictor gate fitting the Picade joystick so thought i’d try it to sort out the old games that require a 4 way stick. Getting the original off was a pain but the Sanwa gate fitted with no problem, however it’s still possible to hit the diagonals, perhaps the switches are closer in this joystick compared to the Sanwa and so it can still activate two switches at the same time. Just mentioning this in case someone else is thinking of doing the same.
