40 pin Skywriter on 26 pin raspberry pi

Hi I mistakenly ordered 40 pin skywriter, and was wondering if I can still use it on my 26 pin raspberry pi 2.

Seems like it only uses 4 pins (and I guess power?) so you shouldn’t have a problem.

I am not sure how much power, should I connect to. Secondly, by looking at the diagram I am not sure which pins should I connect on skywriter.

The HAT is designed to sit directly on top of the RPi, so it should just be a case of connecting the pins shown in the diagram to their equivalent locations on the HAT.

For power you want to do the same, you want to connect the 3V3 pin on the Pi (pin 1) to the equivalent location on the HAT. Similarly do the same for one of the GND pins.
