I2C to Automation Hat wiring

I purchased a SHT30 Temperature And Humidity Sensor from Adafruit along with a Pimoroni Automation Hat. That sensor is an I2C device. I was wondering how to connect that to the Automation Hat. I am not sure about the SDA / SLC lines. Do I use the buffered input / output ports respectively?

Thanks for your help with this.

I’m not seeing an easy way to do it? The SHT30 uses i2c and I don’t see those Pins brought anywhere on the Automation Hat?
One of these, plugged into the GPIO, with your hat on top, will get you access to the required pins.
Adafruit Perma-Proto HAT for Pi Mini Kit - No EEPROM : ID 2310 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits
Stacking Header for Pi A+/B+/Pi 2/Pi 3 - 2x20 Extra Tall Header : ID 1979 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits

Thanks for the reply to my inquiry. Do you happen to know of a different temp / humidity sensor that would work with the Automation Hat?

No, nothing comes to mind?

Thanks again for your help. I ended up soldering the SDA/SLC to pins 3 and 5 on a stacking header and then plugging in the hat. It is working like a champ.

However, I do have a recommendation to the Pimoroni team, for your next hat, think about making the SDA/SLC pins available without having to resort to soldering wires.

Just about everything they make these days has a QWIIC header on it. It looks like this one never got updated?
