Interstate 75W with Waveshare 64 x 64 RGB

Hi,

Please can somebody help me.

I have an Interstate 75W connected up to a Waveshare 64 x 64 matrix. I wanted to order the I75W Bundle which comes with 2 x Matrix but its out of stock so I picked up a Waveshare 64 x 64 instead. I assumed this would be compatible with the I75W but I’m fearing that it isn’t the case as I cant get any of the examples to work except the Rainbow one which works with a graphical error (see bottom screenshot)

Here is exactly what I have done to get Rainbow.py working.

  1. Flashed the i75w with https://github.com/pimoroni/interstate75/releases/download/v0.0.5/i75w_rp2350-v0.0.5-micropython-with-filesystem.uf2
  2. Set Thonny Interpreter to MicroPython Pico (shows in the Shell as " MicroPython master, on 2025-01-31; Interstate 75 W with RP2350 "
  3. Ran the Rainbow.py code from 2040 Examples at Pimoroni Github

Am I missing something really obvious here? Also, I note there are examples and 2040 examples? Should I be using the 2040 examples? Thanks
