PA1010D No GPS data

I’m using an ESP32 WROOM32 with your PA1010D GPS unit. I’m using the Adafruit_GPS.h library and the GPS_HardwareSerial_Parsing example (below)

It flashes its green LED quite happily but all that appears on the Serial console is:

Pin mapping:

GPS            ESP32
3-5V           3V3
SDA            D21(SDA)
SCL            D22(SCL)
GND            GND

I think you are using the wrong example. This is an I2C device, you need the I2C example


I tried each of the I2C examples which don’t do anything; even flash the green LED

OK GPS_I2C_parsing example works!
