Phat DAC Female header

Hello,

Sorry to sound like a noob but I am!

Anyway, I’ve just bought a PHAT DAC and need to solder the supplied female header. I’ll be connecting to my PI3 which sits in a Picade and wondered if I should just solder all the pins onto the PHAT DAC header if that makes sense?

I do plan on piggybacking (is that the correct term) the PHAT DAC straight onto my PI3 without wires…

Again , sorry to be a bit thick but is the best way to connect it up?

Yes, you should solder the header in place, to the underside of the pcb. Here’s a handy tutorial you can refer to if needs be:
