Picade 10 with heatsink, fan shim and xhat?

Hi,
So I want to make my Pi4 a bit cooler, so a question regarding if this is possible:
Can I:

  • First have a heatsink on (the big one that you make)
  • Add a booster with the fan shim on top of that
  • Add another booster over the fan shim with Xhat on that one?

Is this possible? Or will I end up in disaster if I try this? :)

Just read that heatsink + fan shim was worse than just using the fan shim.

Ok, so can I then do this:

  • Add a fan shim to start with
  • Add a booster header on top of the fan shim header
  • Connect the X-hat to the booster header
