I recently built GlowGrid (https://glowgrid.nodes.ro), a platform for the Pico Unicorn Pack, and I’m getting ready to launch it on Product Hunt.
Since Pimoroni’s hardware is at the heart of this project, I wanted to share it with the community.
My goal is to build an open platform that makes it easy for anyone to program hardware devices with custom functionality. At the moment, GlowGrid supports the Pico 2 W and the Pico Unicorn Pack.
The project is still in its early stages, and I’d really appreciate any feedback.
This first iteration focuses on making it easy to get started with a bare Pico 2 W and the Unicorn Pack. It also includes a Board Designer (as the first application on the platform), where users can create pixel art and custom layouts. GlowGrid can generate the corresponding MicroPython code and deploy it directly to the board through a simple web interface(wireless if using Chrome or usb-direct for other browsers).
My goal is to make the entire development experience as accessible and simple as possible.
