Hi there,

I got the sensor up and running which is very nice, thanks to the good working python code.

I still have a question about the code. In the description of the sensor from Bosch it is written that is is possible to read out the indoor air quality (IAQ) directly from the sensor but the example uses a 5 minute burn in time to estimate the best air quality.

Now my question is if there is a possibilty to read out directly the IAQ data from the sensor or if I am missing something and the only possibility is to use the burn in data?

You can definitely read it straight away. The problem is that the readings take some time to stabilise, and before they’ve stabilised the readings are effectively meaningless.
