I’m not sure how it happened, but the ‘Reset’ button on my Inky-Frame 7.3 got snapped off and I am unable to find it. Is it possible to replace or fix it?
One of these buttons fell of my Badger, but as a whole. I managed to resolder it. In your case, you would probably need the correct button and then you could give it a try. But this depends on your soldering experience.
In any case, write to support and ask what to do. Maybe they can provide a button or even a complete replacement (depends probably on how old the Inky-Frame is).
I’ve managed to snag a couple of those buttons from Pimoroni. I just waited until I was making an order and asked politely if they could throw one or two in. ;)
I was paying the shipping, so it wasn’t a big deal for them to give me a couple.
I have a hot air reflow, which makes it easier, once you learn how to use it, lol. It should still be doable with a soldering iron, if your very careful, and minimize your tip contact time.
