Hey I needed help with my servo 2040, I’m trying to connect four servos with three of them being 20kg servos from miuzel and one of them being a mg90s. I have connected the servo 2040 to a 5v 10a external power source is this correct, I’m not to sure.
That should work, that is how you feed in an extra external supply. Just keep in mind that that external 5V will make its way to the USB C connector and back feed +5V out of it. That’s not an ideal situation, as the two 5v sources will fight each other trying to regulate the voltage. You will have to unplug it when your programming / coding via the USB C jack.
I have similar setups here with a plasma stick and my Interstate 75. What I did was make up a Data only usb cable. I cut the wire for the +5V. Only the Data + Data - and ground are used. No having to unplug my external supply.
