Tips using Inky Impression

Hi All,

I’d thought id share some tips when using the Inky Impression:

  • Images must be 600w x 448h
  • Images with transparent elements in PNG files show as black, to set white, remove the transparent and use white.
  • With regards to ghosting, I didn’t find the clear.py to work effectively however simply creating a white image e.g. 600x448 png file and setting that clears the display nicely.

I haven’t yet displayed text on the screen there isn’t an script for that in the 7 color directory on GitHub, but might need some modification of another inky script to work.
