Were you having the same issue as me where nothing displays? When you “flash nuked” + re-installed firmware did that bring it back to life?

Ah.. so a different failure mode. My TUFTY USB mode has always shown the files in there.. and it still does.. just nothing on the screen ever.
I think you are at a stage where you can honestly say you really tried everything. Write to support with a link to this thread and the images they requested.

UPDATE: I ordered TWO new Tufty’s - got a refund on my original (still had to cover the import/DHL admin fees).. but at least I now have TWO fully functioning Tufty’s. Working great.. well… still going through the learning curve of writing my own App.. which is sort of mostly maybe working. Onto a good start anyway.
What a difference it makes when the Tufty just turns on like it should do.
