Tutorials for STS-PI with Explorer HAT (not PRO)?

Hi,

I have an STS-PI and Explorer HAT. I can find lots of examples of how to control the STS-PI using Explorer HAT PRO, but not with the more basic Explorer HAT.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

An explorer hat will not work with STS power as it doesn’t have any motor controllers so what you need is explorer phat or explorer hat pro. The explorer phat will work with explorer hat pro code.
