Hey!
I have 8 unicorn hats all displaying some strange symptoms.
Only three LEDs light up on each one. I am running the example scripts, and have run the audio configuration scripts but with no luck. They are all on the latest updated version of raspbian.
Any ideas?
My best guess, and that’s all it is, is maybe its Buster that’s messing things up?
I have several Unicorn HD’s, but none of the one your uisng.

It looks like that’s a 3B or 3B+, that will make going back a version or two easier.
Try it on one and see what happens. I have a feeling it might be the switch to Pulse Audio in the latest Pi OS that might be messing things up for you. I’m far from being any kind of Linux expert though.
