Weather board mqtt transmisions intermittent

Hi All,

This is about ’ Enviro Weather (Pico W Aboard) - Board Only’ connected to mqtt server on my local RPI4 (both on same home wifi network). the pico is configured to measure every 5min and send data at the same interval (every time).

In below monitor from a mosquitto_sub client (also on same home network) I find that measurements have not come in.

Notice last message from pico at : 2023-12-19 18:03:03 (converted to GMT!!)
There should have been a message at ca. 18:08:03 (but it is not shown!!)
I sent a text message from other mosquitto_pub cmd at 10:11:27 so you can see the time stamp marked line in the output.

I pushed ‘poke’ on the pico and three lines got sent!!
Message from pico from 2023-12-19 18:08:04 came late.

Why are messages not coming in at correct time??

I have exactly the same problem and it screws up my rain count , I have almost the same setup as you do, sending uploads to a pi zero 2w with weewx mqtt ,Ive ask them at support and no one never gave me a answer to the problem. I live in a rural area and routers are not the problem. did you find what causes the problem ?
