Wide Input Shim Enable for power control to RPi

Hi. I have a Wide Input Shim for the RPi. I have it installed on a PI4. It works great. I have added a momentary switch between EN and ground and it does indeed cut power to the PI.

I have a question - can I change out the momentary switch for a SPST switch and use it as a power on/off switch? Will it damage the PI or the Shim to have it enabled for long periods?

I do believe that is the intended use? I didn’t see any link to a schematic so I’m just going by the product description. So right now if you press an hold your button down power is off? And as soon as you release it, power is back on?
