0.96 inch LCD to framebuffer Raspberry Pi

Hi all, I have the 160x80 LCD and I can use the python libraries just fine to display images and text.

However, I want to link this to fb0, (or setup and link it to fb1) so I can run applications on the screen. I cannot use fbcp or fbtft etc as these are no longer supported for linux 5.4+.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I’ve no idea what alternatives there are, but apparently with a bit of tweaking it’s possible to get fbtft working on 5.4+ again.

Any update on this? I’d like to try to use the 160x80 LCD of the automation mini as a frame buffer boot console.

It seems possible, just wondering if anyone else has got it working.
