Hi, I’d like to get some help on what components I would need to build a countdown clock showing Seconds, Minutes, Hours, Days, Years. The digital display would hopefully be battery powered.

Sounds like a cool project, lots of ways to do it though?
I suggest using a Micro Controller. It will use a lot less power versus a Raspberry Pi
Any thought as to what type of display you want to use? Alpha numeric, oled, Color LCD? I’m leaning towards oled. They are energy efficient, and offer a very good viewing angle.
Hi alphanumeric, thanks for your reply. I am an artist & know zip about building this countdown clock, but it seemed like a great idea to include in one of my pieces. I’m happy to buy what I would need but haven’t a clue where to start. I would be very happy to pay someone to build it for me.
