I’m using a Pico with a DP2 on the Dual Expander Omnidecker…Works fine but I don’t really need to use the buttons. Can I reassign or disable the pins used for the buttons (e.g., to use as the SPI1 interface) without any problems?
Yes, no problem. As long as you don’t press the buttons, nothing happens. Make sure that the software you are using does not initialize the GPIOs as digital-inputs and you can do what you want with them.
