Drum Hat wav file mappings to touch pads?

I have a Drum hat setup in the Itty Bitty Beat Box.
https://learn.pimoroni.com/tutorial/sandyj/build-an-itty-bitty-beat-box

I want to change what sound is assigned to each pad but can’t figure out how the mapping are done?
The drums.py example

shows

DRUM_FOLDER = "drums2"

 Pads are mapped like so:
7 = Rim hit, 1 = Whistle, 2 = Clash
6 = Hat,     8 = Clap,   3 = Cowbell
      5 = Snare,   4 = Base

drums2 contains

000_base.wav
001_cowbell.wav
002_clash.wav
003_whistle.wav
004_rim.wav
005_hat.wav
006_snare.wav
007_clap.wav

I can’t make any sense out of it?
I want to use the drums folder files,

DRUM_FOLDER = "drums"

but I want to pick which wave file is assigned to what pad?

If you edit it to drums instead of drums2 you will get the following mappings
1 hit
2 hat
3 crash
4 clap
5 thud
6 smash
7 rim
8 ting

A this point I would like to mix and match from the two folders?

Figured it out.
It is alphabetical, once you figure out the Pad order.

It goes 4, 3, 2, 1, 7, 6, 5, 8
pad > drums 2 >     drums

4   > 000_base      > clap
3   > 001_cowbell   > crash
2   > 002_clash     > hat
1   > 003_whistle   > hit
7   > 004_rim       > rim
6   > 005_hat       > smash
5   > 006_snare     > thud
8   > 007_clap      > ting

Bess guess is its due to the touch controller, and what pins go to what pad.

All I have to do is put a number in front of my file name to assign them to a specific pad. 003 for pad 1 for example. =)

It goes counter clockwise starting in the lower right corner, the center pad being last.
