A few days ago, I was experimenting with my Broken Unicorn HAT HD when the skin over the bone of my thumb touched the GPIO. Could this destroy the pins?
It’s extremely unlikely. I’d suspect that your problem, looking at your other post, is either software-related or an incorrectly flashed chip on the HAT itself.
