Help! Picade build no buttons work!

I’m building my picade xmas present but having completed the build, none of the buttons are working when I boot up retropie. I’ve tried pressing and holding all the buttons but nothing works.

Tried reflashing the memory card but no difference. I’ve been toying with this for hours and I’m just so frustrated now.

I’ve triple checked all the wiring and all the buttons are connected and have the earth.

Please help!

Hi

Do you have a multimeter to test the connections between the PCB and the buttons? They may look ok but one of the earth crimps could be not done correctly.

Thankfully I got it to work, I reseated all the cables and suddenly it worked fine!
Thanks for the help anyway! (I guess the usb cable from picade board to pi wasn’t fully pushed home) doh!
