Im working on a project that involves pimping up an old radio so it has a screen. to this end i am using a raspberry 4 b and the hyperpixel 4 touch. Considering that the radio should end up as a media player i layed my eyes on OSMC. I am aware that hyperpixel 4 and its drivers are intended for raspbian, but i was wondering if anyone had used this combination (succesfully) or other mediaplayer-OSs.
i guess what im asking is: Should i switch to raspbian and deal with seeing a couple seconds of desktop before my player of choice or try to make this work?
