Just received another Pi Zero W, WiFi and Bluetooth not working

Hello,

I’ve just received my order (#PI211147) but there’s a problem with the Raspberry Pi Zero W - wifi and bluetooth are not working.

I have 4 x Raspberry Pi Zero, 2 x Raspberry Pi Zero W and 1x Raspberry Pi 3.

I just flashed a new 2017-07-05-raspbian-jessie-lite (dropping ssh and wpa_supplicant.conf to boot, like I always do for a headless setup) and the new Pi Zero W doesn’t show any wifi or bluetooth. Tried same card with the other W that I have and everything works ok. Tried on two other Pi Zeros with wifi dongle and everything works just fine.

The new W works fine with a wifi dongle, still bluetooth is not showing anywhere (listed as dead).

Take a look at this post here and follow it through to see if you also have a dud Zero W: No Wifi/Bluetooth on Pi0W V1.1

If so, drop an email to support@pimoroni.com mentioning this post and they’ll sort out a replacement for you. :)

In that case, it sounds like faulty hardware. Could you email support@pimoroni.com and we’ll get a new one sent out, please?
