Map the buttons of the phat beat to the musicbox_webclient

Good day all,
does anybody know if and how we can map the buttons of the phat beat to the musicbox_webclient plugin of mopidy in order to do next/prev with the audio streams ( tunein links e.g. ) marked as favorites from the gui ?

so it works like an FM radio ! :-)

The pinout is here if that helps. It shows which GPIO is used by which button. Pressing the button grounds that GPIO pin.
