Hi all. Got my MTC yesterday and it’s awesome. I made mention of my issue on the Kickstarter comments yesterday and wanted to follow-up.
The Matrix module that I received seems to have a manufacturing defect. The LED matrix was not properly seated on the PCB prior to soldering, so it sits at an angle to the PCB instead of flush against it. I had a chance to install the flotilla python library this evening and wrote a quick test script to run through all the LEDs in the matrix and it works flawlessly.
Mostly just giving you all a heads-up for future runs of the module.
