Monitor in portrait orientation

Hi,

Is it possible to mount the 8" monitor in portrait rather than landscape orientation?

The games I’d like to play (Pacman, Frogger etc.) are all in that format.

I don’t see why not. Try it, and then try adding one of these in /boot/config.txt

display_rotate=0        Normal
display_rotate=1         90 degrees
display_rotate=2        180 degrees
display_rotate=3        270 degrees
